Spoon Rests

 

All spoon rests are thrown on the wheel. They are then hand shaped before they dry and are fired. I hand paint a surface design on each of them before the final glaze firing. Think outside the box! These can be used as soap dishes, trinket/jewelry dishes, tea bag holders and so much more!

I love to draw and often adorn my work with original images inspired by nature. I enhance the surface of my pottery with patterns, or tangles, using the Zentangle® method. Tangles are beautiful images that are mindfully created by drawing structured patterns. I hand draw and paint all of the designs using colorful underglazes before glazing and firing pieces for the final time. For more about my process, please check out the 'About' section.
