Working with clay does not allow for complacence! The kiln reveals all types of imperfections that were not noticeable before a piece was glazed and fired. Many of these pieces are perfectly serviceable despite their flaws and I am excited for them to find new homes. This reminds me a bit of the Rudolph story with 'The Island of Misfit Toys'!
