A New Year’s Challenge

IMG_4932

This year, since I was traveling on New Year’s Day, I decided to give myself the whole month to start my resolutions. One of the resolutions that I think it will be easy to keep is to participate in a weekly Zentangle challenge! Laura Harms, CZT, is now starting her fifth year of posting challenges. This week, participants were invited to use this string–the logo for the Moebius Syndrome Foundation–to raise awareness for this syndrome.

Maintaining a consistent practice can be a challenge in the hustle and bustle of daily tasks–and, I think that consistency and practice are key especially as in my teaching I encourage others to engage with this art form in a consistent manner.

As for the other resolutions that have to do with decluttering, exercising, and eating better, we’ll see if they get started before month’s end. But, today, I am already looking forward to next week’s challenge! Stay tuned!
